Inspector Howard Chow Howard Chow attended Simon Fraser University. He joined the Vancouver Police Department in 1989 and subsequently completed a BA in Criminology. Howard was assigned to operational patrol duties in Districts 1, 3, and 4. He was also a Public Order officer for over 14 years and is now a Public Order Commander. Howard spent many years as a police dog handler and was the Department's media spokesperson. As the Recruiting sergeant leading up to the 2010 Olympics, Howard was tasked with hiring over two hundred police officers to meet the needs of this event. He was part of the Integrated Riot Investigation Team and was also a Staff Sergeant in our Traffic Section. Currently, Howard is the District 2 Operational Commander of over 200 police officers in the NE sector of Vancouver. |
